The internet connection is now up and running, although not very fast. It is currently 128kbs, rather than the 768kbs I was promised. The guy who set the system up has promised me he'll be able to achieve the 768kbs by changing some settings on his server in Managua - the proof will be in the pudding, as they say. We still have no satellite TV as (apparently) the decoders were stolen in transit from the US.
